The Big Saturday Apple Press Day

What a fantastic day we had on Saturday 15th October...

• The weather couldn’t have been better
• The freshly pressed apple juice was scrumptious
• The food was delicious
• The face painting was outrageous and non stop
• The tattoos went on smoothly (don’t know how well they came off)
• Duck’s were hooked all afternoon
• The chickens were named
• The cakes sold well and tasted good too (£125.88 raised for Children in Need)
• The Horse & Carriage rides were full of excited flag waving children (and adults)
• The staff had a wonderful time thanks to our great guests (it didn’t feel like work)

And we hope our all guests had a marvellous time too!

Farewell and Adieu: Leavers party with Raptor and Reptile Centre

We have very sadly said goodbye to many old friends as their children are now leaving us to go to “big school”. To celebrate the new adventure and reminisce over the last few years we held a party one Sunday in August, thankfully the weather was kind and we all enjoyed an animal themed afternoon with the highlight being a visit from Liberty’s Raptor and reptile centre in Ringwood with some of their more exotic friends.

It’s Outstandingly Good at Ringwood Day Nursery

Ringwood Day Nursery’s excellent reputation has been re-confirmed in the result of their recent Ofsted inspection. The nursery, who has also received the National Day Nurseries Association’s Gold Quality Award in February 2009, was inspected on the 19th May this year and all aspects of the nursery were rigorously scrutinised.  

The inspector noted that the nursery has a “welcoming and child centred environment” and the “children are confident and settled and actively participate in a broad range of quality activities”.

The excellent management systems and good quality of staff interactions were also highlighted.

Several parents spoke with the inspector and their positive comments along with the inspector’s observations meant the nursery was rated Outstanding in its Partnership with Parents.

The nursery children and staff gathered for a group photograph to mark the successful inspection.
